THE driver involved in Sunday's Chapman's Peak Drive accident has died in hospital, after the crash left him with serious injuries.
The vehicle, carrying the 47-year-old man and a male passenger, plummeted from the top of the cliff and crashed into the rocks below at 9am.
Video footage seen of the vehichle accident shows the car mangled on the rocks, just above the waves.
