THE Bulls crashed out of the Challenge Cup after a 34-28 defeat to Edinburgh at Hive Stadium on Saturday, ending South Africa's hopes of retaining the title following the Sharks’ triumph last season.

Edinburgh dominated the first half, scoring three tries and a penalty to lead 24-7 at halftime. Despite a yellow card to Zak Burger early on, the Bulls managed a lone try through David Kriel.
