A CODETA rank manager was shot dead alongside a female passenger in a brutal, suspected taxi hit near the Palm taxi rank in Delft South on Monday night.

The rank manager for the Cape Organisation for the Democratic Taxi Association (Codeta), was gunned down in a hail of bullets on Monday evening in an alleged “targeted murder”.
According to reports, the deceased was driving a Ford Ranger near his office at the Palm taxi rank in Delft South.
