WILL SNAPPED UP FOR ROSS

RALPH BECKETT has found a big name replacement for the banned Frankie Dettori by booking champion jockey William Buick for Kinross in the July Cup.

With Dettori in the middle of serving 17 days of bans, Beckett snapped up Buick knowing the race falls on ‘Super Saturday, one of the busiest of the year when top jockeys are hard to come by.

Jockeys can only ride at one of the six meetings and there is an additional issue this year with Dettori, Oisin Murphy, Jamie Spencer and Daniel Muscutt all unavailable due to suspension.
