Packed diary having negative impact on Shaun's Ashes prep

SHAUN WANE has revealed England won't have a single field training session together before they enter camp to take on world champions Australia.

The national side is eagerly anticipating an Ashes series, the first in 22 years.

The second and third Tests - at Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium and Headingley - are already sold out and officials are hopeful the opening clash at Wembley on October 25 will also see a full house.

But head coach Wane conceded he's struggling to get hold of his players to get them prepped for the fabled Kangaroos.

He said: "I've been granted three sessions but it's so congested that we're not going to get a session before that week build-up to the first Australia game which is unfortunate.
