Thomas will be in Tuch to give TAA a to-do list

THOMAS TUCHEL is ready to throw Trent AlexanderArnold a World Cup lifeline.

The England boss revealed he plans to make a raft of video calls to players who are on the fringes of his squad with Alexander-Arnold the star name on the list.

Tuchel admitted Jarell Quansah is currently ahead of the Real Madrid right-back in the pecking order behind first-choice Reece James.

But he will be speaking to players to tell them what they need to do in order to get back in his plans for next summer.

Alexander-Arnold has not been in England's last three camps and not been picked since joining Real Madrid in June.
