FODEN'S DERBY DEDICATION TO HATTON

PHIL FODEN paid tribute to Ricky Hatton and admitted “I tried my best for him” following the boxer's untimely death.

Former world champion Hatton was a passionate City fan and the Etihad gave an emotional minute's appreciation to the tragic star before kickoff in the Manchester derby.

Fellow boyhood City supporter Foden then opened the scoring before Erling Haaland hit a brace as they saw off Manchester United with ease.
