STAR OF ALBION (2.45, nap) can become a giant on the track when he switches to the sand at Lingfield today.

The Amanda Perrett-trained youngster has produced three creditable efforts on turf, including first time out in a valuable Glorious Goodwood maiden at odds of 125-1. Last time out he narrowly failed to make all the running at Sandown where he was beaten a length after hanging left-handed in the closing stages. That trait may not be an issue as he switches surfaces to go round left-handed Lingfield with the excellent Tom Marquand aboard to keep him straight.

The son of Zoustar has all-weather winners in his pedigree so the change to synthetic should be tailormade.
