CLOUD COVER (8.00, nap) can cast a shadow over her rivals in the big race at Chelmsford tonight.

A Royal Ascot winner graces the Queen Charlotte Fillies’ Stakes in the shape of Miss Information, but it is James Tate’s (right) all-weather specialist who takes the eye in the £100,000 Listed contest.

She posted a pair of excellent efforts on the sand at the turn of year, landing a Listed race in France and then running out an easy winner of a decent Newcastle handicap off top weight.

She was below par last time on her first outing after a wind op but if she bounces back to her previous level she looks sure to have a say.

MR HAMPSTEAD (8.30) failed to land a blow in the Ascot Stakes at the royal meeting but is back in calmer waters for the Download The bet365 App Handicap.
