Staff threatened with syringes by 'brazen' thieves

SHAMELESS shoplifters are using suitcases and wheelie bins to sweep supermarket shelves.

The brazen thieves' looting-style raids have even ended in knife and syringe attacks on store managers and security staff who try to nab them.

Astonishingly, even though many are caught on CCTV, guards can't ask them to be opened unless they personally witness the stealing.
