NATHAN FLETCHER is leading the way for the Next Generation to come out of Liverpool but has had to dig deep to forge his own path to the UFC.

Last-second cancellations and a broken leg, coupled with the grind of the Europe MMA scene, have been the most recent obstacles for Fletcher to overcome.

However, the 26-year-old was finally able to showcase his submission skills last weekend in Las Vegas as he forced fellow Ultimate Fighter team-mate Zygimantas Ramaska to tap out to an arm-triangle choke in round two.
