SCORING the biggest song of the year is impressive but Alex Warren’s greatest achievement is adding celebrity numbers to his phone.

The US star behind Ordinary releases new album You'll Be Alright, Kid today. And famous pals Lana Del Rey to Noah Kahan will no doubt be giving it a spin and offering feedback.

"Now I text various different people that I prefer not to (name) drop," revealed Alex. "But it's been really, really cool to kind of look at my phone and get a text message from someone I grew up obsessed with.

"And they're just checking in on me. It's weird, it's really weird."

Another celeb pal is Ed Sheeran but Alex won't be sharing a beer with him again anytime soon.
