OISIN MURPHY is in pole position to seize the prized mount on Constitution Hill when the 2023 Champion Hurdler makes his Flat debut at Southwell on February 20.
Constitution Hill's jumping frailties - he has fallen in three of his last four starts - have persuaded his trainer Nicky Henderson and owner Michael Buckley to seek a change of code for their horse.
The nine-year-old is set to appear in a mile-and-a-half conditions stakes on a Friday Night Live card at the Rolleston course and Buckley has approached Murphy for the ride.
