Star reckons 'too many pubs in UK'

JAMES May reckons petrol cars and pubs are now old hat.

The 60-year-old claims we are too hung up on traditions like classic motors and boozers despite regularly backing them on Top Gear.

He said: "The idea that people think we've somehow sold out or betrayed humanity by giving up on internal combustion is nonsense.

"We used it because that was the best we could do at the time.
