Dyche wants common sense to tip the scales in his favour
NOTTINGHAM FOREST boss Sean Dyche has questioned whether Manchester City counterpart Pep Guardiola will apply his high fitness standards to himself.
Guardiola revealed his players will be weighed prior to their trip to the City Ground on Saturday to make sure they have not overindulged at Christmas.
The Reds will not be following suit, with Dyche simply urging his squad to show “common sense” as they enjoy the festive period.
Asked whether he will be following City’s lead by weighing his Forest players, Dyche quipped: “I think it’s unlikely! I presume you are mentioning it because of what Pep said.
“Is he weighing himself in, do you think? I wonder how it works. One rule for one... Come on, Pep!”
