HARRY MAGUIRE has revealed the taunts of Lyon players inspired Manchester United's epic Europa League comeback win.

United blew a 2-0 lead to trail 4-2 at Old Trafford before scoring three goals in the last seven minutes of extra time to win 5-4 and go through in dramatic style on Thursday.

The incredible finale saw United book a semi-final tie with Athletic Bilbao to keep alive their hopes of ending a shambolic season on a high by winning silverware.

Maguire, who scored the winner in the 121st minute, said it was the "maddest game" he has ever played in.

And he insisted the sight of Lyon's players celebrating as though they were through was all the motivation United needed.

The England defender said: "I think it was the 109th minute when they scored their fourth goal.
