STAR'S DRAMA QUEENIE ROLE

LAURA Whitmore hopes to set the acting world alight but she admits it's tougher than presenting.

The former Love Island host is set to make waves on the small and silver screen, starting with Channel 4's much-anticipated drama Queenie, due to air this year.

An adaptation of Candice Carty-Williams' bestselling book of the same name, Whitmore will play a gynaecologist.
