Heads on block as basketcase clubs do battle in El Sackico

- BY NEIL MCLEMAN

TOTTENHAM and West Ham share more than a bitter rivalry and recently winning European trophies.

Both managers are under huge pressure going into today’s London derby after poor transfers and worse results have fuelled fan unrest.

Spurs are out of the domestic cups and in 14th place in the Premier League after one win in six.

West Ham have gone 10 league games without a win and are seven points from safety in 18th place.

Asked if Thomas Frank has to win today to stay in his job, former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood told Sky Sports: “No more than Nuno Espirito Santo has to win to stay in charge at West Ham. It is El Sackico.”

This is where it has all gone wrong:

Confused managerial turnover David Moyes won the UEFA Conference League in May 2023 - West Ham's first major trophy in 43 years - but was gone the following year.
