Brownhill hails his 'boring' Clarets
BURNLEY'S Captain Marvel Josh Brownhill joked the Clarets have “bored” their way to the Premier League after they sealed promotion against Sheffield United.
Top scorer Brownhill starred for Burnley, scoring both their goals, and he claimed Scott Parker's side had triumphed despite all the criticism that came their way.
Labelled as 'dull, the Clarets have gone 31 league games unbeaten, are undefeated at Turf Moor and have conceded just a miserly 15 goals.
Brownhill said: “We have been written off so many times, people calling us boring. We've bored our way to the Premier League!
“All that hard work this season, it takes a whole team. It’s not just the back four, a goalkeeper it takes everybody.
