Liddard will take Euro trips over the drop

GEORGE LIDDARD is willing to endure a season of Championship football if it means he can finally enjoy a European adventure with West Ham.

The Hammers ended a 43-year wait for a trophy when they won the UEFA Conference League three years ago.

David Moyes' men visited Cyprus, Belgium and the Netherlands en route to beating Fiorentina in the final in Prague.

Liddard, 23, has supported the East London club since he was a boy.

But the middleweight's blossoming career meant he missed out on the chance to join the travelling party in 2023.
