Hornets invasion will kill off bees

DEADLY Asian hornets are thriving in the UK and could wipe out our bee population, wildlife boffins fear.

There has been a sharp rise in sightings of the winged terrors, which can eat up to 50 bees per day, and a record number of their nests have been discovered.
