Gainford handed back reins for Gold Cup
SHARK HANLON has given Jordan Gainford the green light to ride Hewick in next week’s Cheltenham Gold Cup.
The young rider was forced to put their successful partnership on hold this season due to injury.
He was sidelined as super-sub Gavin Sheehan inspired the nine-year-old’s last-gasp King George success on Boxing Day.
