TYRRELL HATTON admitted a foul-mouthed outburst at the US PGA Championship "wasn't his finest moment" as emotions got the better of him in a rollercoaster round.

And he wasn't the only Brit to jump up and down the leaderboard as Aaron Rai's chaotic day saw him suffer the same painful fate as Rory McIlroy on day one.

Ryder Cup star Hatton came out firing with back-to-back birdies but made a triple-bogey seven on 18, the halfway stage of his round.
