ENGLAND batter Alex Hales has announced his retirement from international cricket.
-
The opener, 34, won his first cap in 2011 and his last in the T20 World Cup final win against Pakistan in November at the MCG.
Hales, who will continue to play for Notts and in T20 franchises, ended with 2,419 runs from 70 ODIs while scoring 2,074 runs in 75 20-over innings.
