Clear heads key as Russo plots route to recovery

ALESSIA RUSSO insists the Lionesses will show their true colours when it matters most tonight.

England head into the clash with Holland knowing defeat will more than likely bring their title defence to a premature end.

Sarina Wiegman’s team are on the back foot after they lost 2-1 to France in their opening game, their first loss in the group stage of a major tournament since 2015.

The stakes could not be higher but Russo is adamant fear will not be a factor against the Dutch.

“We want everyone to be as free as possible out on the pitch and going forward,” said the Arsenal star.

“It's a big part of what we are as a team. We have players who can create something out of nothing and making sure everyone is in a good head-space is important.
