Fliers thrown into air as jet fell 7,000ft in 6 minutes

A BRIT passenger died and 30 were injured during horror turbulence on a flight from London to Singapore.

Geoffrey Ralph Kitchen, 73, pictured above, is believed to have had a heart attack as the Singapore Airlines jet fell 7,000ft in just six minutes over the coast of Burma.

The sudden drop flung passengers into the air, with many suffering horrific head injuries and left screaming in pain.
