Reeves' warning of tax increases

RACHEL Reeves has put the country on alert, warning of tax rises in the next Budget.

In a pre-Budget speech, the Chancellor said that rises are coming and "each of us must do our bit".

However she declined to recommit to Labour's manifesto promise not to increase income tax, National Insurance or VAT, saying "we will all have to contribute"
