ANDONI IRAOLA is in for a lonely Christmas - and the Bournemouth boss is not even asking Father Christmas for three points to cheer him up.

Due to the Premier League's hectic festive schedule, Iraola's wife and two children are spending Christmas with family in Spain, while he will spend Christmas Day on the training ground.

The Spaniard said: "You have so many games here and there is so much work to do, so you have to leave Christmas to one side and focus on the football.

"My family are not here with me. There is a lot of work to do here, so it is a different Christmas but I still want to enjoy it.
