STORMS HAVE THEIR NAMES

STORM Dave will batter the UK during the next season of bad weather.

That is just one of the official names given to storms for the 202526 season, says the Met Office.

Every one was submitted by the public and the monikers include Dave, Eddie and Wubbo.

One punter suggested Dave in tribute to "my beloved husband who can snore three times louder than any storm" The Met Office's Rebekah Hicks said: "Naming storms isn't just about giving them a label, it's about making sure people take notice.
