Amone ready to roar for Tigers
TOM AMONE has no regrets over his NRL move and is now all about helping fire Castleford up the table.
The Aussie prop comes in for his debut at Super League’s bottom club Huddersfield Giants today.
Some brilliant performances for Leigh last year, after a Dream Team selection in 2023, earned him a big switch to Canterbury Bulldogs.
But Amone failed to make a single NRL appearance for the frontrunners and was allowed to leave barely three months into the new campaign.
The 29-year-old signed a three-year deal with leaders Hull KR from 2026 but adds some much-needed quality to Danny McGuire's struggling Tigers for the rest of this campaign.
