Blues offer clues

Trap two runners are fancied across the board in the £20,000-to-the-winner annual with the Mike Burton-trained DROOPYS ALADDIN (7.22) set to kick off the sequence in the first semi-final, perhaps at the chief expense of last week's fastest heat winner.

Boasting searing early pace, Droopys Aladdin's leadability claims are strong and he might get away, albeit Racketball Brute is a real powerhouse performer who is good enough if close enough in a race where there are plenty of chances.

Irish raider Jacktavern Chief won his heat well last week, while Deliverooo shone a week ago in defeat, as did the strong-running Arthur Job.
