Beeb's leader in £20k pay rise

BELEAGUERED BBC boss Tim Davie has “earnt” himself a huge pay rise despite the scandals engulfing the broadcaster.

The Beeb is facing a backlash over its handling of the MasterChef allegations and Bob Vylan's Glastonbury performance, below.

And it is still reeling from criticism over the Huw Edwards scandal.

But in the past 12 months the man at the helm has enjoyed a substantial pay rise from £527,000 in 2023/24 to £547,000 in 2024/25.
