Greaves falls just short after giving Anderson real fright

SHE may not have won a match - but Beau Greaves has certainly ruffled plenty of feathers at the Grand Siam of Darts.

Greaves was beaten in a thriller on Saturday night, going down in a deciding leg to Michael van Gerwen.

And she went the distance against another multiple-time former world champion in Gary Anderson last night before eventually losing 5-4.

Greaves, 21, beat Luke Littler recently to qualify for the World Youth Championship final, where she will face Gian van Veen later this month.

She has also qualified to play on the PDC Tour next year and Greaves proved she will be no pushover at her third Grand Slam.
