Dods' ace in Pol position back at favourite track
POL ROGER (4.05, nb) loves it at Ayr and is fancied to grab his third victory at the Scottish track today.
The five-year-old has already won twice at the course - and also finished runner-up three times - and conditions are set fair for him.
Michael Dods' (below) gelding should take a big step forward from his seasonal return when he was a close fifth at Haydock.
Pol Roger won on his second start last season - also at Ayr - and Connor Beasley knows him inside out.
