SAUSAGE roll fans were left fuming yesterday after Greggs was forced to close stores when an IT glitch torpedoed tills.
Pastry lovers had to go hungry after the tech cock-up closed stores in cities including London, Cardiff, Manchester and Newcastle.
It came days after similar issues at McDonald's, Argos, Sainsbury's and Tesco.
One Greggs fan joked on X the IT issues affecting other brands were serious, but an outage at the sausage roll chain was a step too far.
