ANDERSEN PROMISING A TOUGH TIME FOR ARTETA
Daily Star
|October 18, 2025
JOACHIM ANDERSEN is happy to play mind games with Arsenal after labelling their trip to Craven Cottage as "must-win".
The Fulham skipper has told Mikel Arteta's title challengers to expect a stern test on the banks of the Thames, where they have only taken a point from their last two trips.
Andersen (inset) insists the Premier League leaders have to win every game to maintain their bid to turn three straight secondplace finishes into a first topflight crown for 22 years.
He said: "We must be ready for the task because Arsenal will see this as a must-win game.
"They need to win every game to compete for the title and we need to make sure we make it hard for them. At Craven Cottage, it's always a tough place for teams to come and I'm sure we'll give them a difficult day."
Andersen admits he is on a high after scoring his first goal for Denmark in the international break to put his country on the verge of World Cup qualification.
