Alcaraz vows to have fun

CARLOS ALCARAZ eased into the US Open quarterfinals and insisted he will keep on entertaining.

Alcaraz breezed past Arthur Rinderknech 7-6 6-3 6-4 to reach his 13th Grand Slam quarterfinal.

The Spaniard has equalled Bjorn Borg and Boris Becker for the most Grand Slam quarterfinals before turning 23.

And Alcaraz was at his entertaining best against Frenchman Rinderknech, winning a point in the first set with a behind the back shot.

He will face 20th seed Jiri Lehecka in the next round and vowed to carry on in performer mode.
