WORKAHEAD (1.25) will never run in, or win, as many races as the mighty horse commemorated in the Limestone Lad Hurdle this afternoon at Naas — but he still has the potential to make a graded performer.

A winner of 29 of his 47 runs over hurdles, including multiple graded events, Limestone Lad was the epitome of durability and class, something the Henry de Bromhead (right) runner aspires to.

His all-the-way win at Leopardstown in a maiden hurdle in December 2024 remains fresh in the memory and the fact that the selection has been kept in training suggests the eight-year-old has plenty more to give.
