Sick of hearing 'privatise NHS'

THE NHS has turned 75 – but that hasn’t stopped people sticking the boot in.

“It’s bloated, it’s not fit for purpose, it’s on life support.”

Now, it’s far from being a picture of health but there’s plenty of life in the old dog yet.

It needs to be celebrated, it needs to reformed – and it needs to be saved.

Because at its core is the admirable belief healthcare should be free for all.

Free at the point of contact – for every one of us.

The NHS is big, it’s costly, it’s crumbling and it needs a shot in the arm. But isn’t that core belief worth fighting for?
