THERE is no investigation needed ahead of the feature John Durkan Memorial Chase as to my eyes it seems pretty elementary, just place your hard-earned cash each-way on LECKY WATSON (3.00) at Punchestown today.

Champion Trainer Willie Mullins has seven of the 11 declared runners in this Grade One event including last year's winner Fact To File, but at around 5-4, I think the Ryanair Chase hero is well worth opposing with his younger stable mate.

My fancy is the least exposed runner in the field with a mere four chases under his belt and a 75 per cent strike rate - it may well have been 100 per cent if he had not taken a tumble at the Punchestown Festival.
