Let's swap hate for village fete

DON'T you love the great British summer traditions?

Wimbledon, Glasto, Royal Ascot, packed beaches, village fetes.

You can add protesting outside hotels housing migrants to the list.

The demos have sprung up because people are genuinely angry.

Angry at the perceived injustice of cash spent on accommodating people fresh off the boat, while the country suffers a cost-of-living crisis.

And anger can be good. Protests are important.

Anger of the people through history makes Governments change things.

And the anger is making the issue of immigration a top priority for the Government.

But it's misplaced when it comes to taking it out on the migrants.
