Lam confident his squad have what it takes to knock the spots off mighty Wigan

ADRIAN LAM believes his Leigh squad is better prepared to handle the might of Wigan in next week's Super League semifinal saying last year's group ‘wasn't good enough’.

Leigh were hammered 38-0 by Wigan at the same stage last season, with the sides set to meet again at the Brick Community Stadium on Friday night with a Grand Final place up for grabs.

And after getting the measure of Wigan 1-0 in the opening round, five months after that semifinal clash, Lam will take his side across the borough with confidence, adamant that the big changes made this off-season will see the club go one better this time round.
