Jordy sure of Daryl glory bid
WARRINGTON ace Jordy Crowther has warned Daryl Powell will be playing his “own Grand Final” when their former boss today makes his first return to the club since being sacked.
It was in July 2023 that Powell lost the Wolves job after a run of eight defeats in nine games.
The ex-Castleford and Leeds chief has bounced back since, taking over Wakefield and leading them to Championship glory last year, earning a return to Super League.
And in just his fourth outing back in the top-flight, Powell (above) now ventures back to Halliwell Jones Stadium with Trinity.
