Zero tolerance for Old Firm hooligans

THERE was precious little in the way of quality passing in Sunday's Old Firm match.

But there has been plenty of passing the buck when it comes to the disgraceful scenes of fan disorder which shamed Celtic and Rangers at Ibrox.

Nobody is taking responsibility. And nobody is coming up with solutions on how we tackle the menace of football violence.

Police Scotland claim they simply don't have enough resources to properly police such a big away crowd at Old Firm matches.

Glasgow’s top cop said yesterday she was "satisfied" with the police operation - claiming a lack of resources means they can't deal with massive away ends at Old Firm games.

Both clubs have failed to come up with any meaningful strategy on how we avoid a repeat of Sunday's on-field riot.
