Zero gratitude'

Erratic Trump blasts Ukraine over his 'surrender' peace plan and rages at Europe for still buying Russian oil

DONALD Trump yesterday attacked Ukraine's leadership for showing “zero gratitude” to the US over a controversial peace plan.

The president is said to have given Kyiv until Thursday to accept a 28-point plan, despite concerns of European leaders including Keir Starmer.

It involves concessions to Vladimir Putin's Russia, including cutting Ukraine' armed forces and abandoning plans for it to join Nato.

Talks between Ukraine, the US and European countries were held in Geneva yesterday.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky said: “There is now an understanding that the American proposals may take into account a number of elements based on the Ukrainian vision and are critically important for Ukraine's national interests”
