We're not just paid to play. we're paid to win says Gray
DAVID GRAY has warned his Hibs players they're paid to win football matches and not just play the game as he hunts a priceless derby victory on Sunday.
The Easter Road boss knows beating Hearts in his first capital clash as manager would go a long way to lifting the gloom setting in with his side rooted to the bottom right behind their arch rivals.
Hibs have won just one of their eight league games and have lost three on the spin - imploding spectacularly after red cards in the last two.
And Gray has warned his troops no one's position in his team is safe.
But despite pressure building on the 36-year-old he insists there is no crisis surrounding the club ahead of their biggest game of the season. And he reckons a victory in Sunday's basement battle derby will go a long way to proving that.
Gray said: "No, it's not a crisis. It needs to be better. I think we all know that. As I've said to the players, we're not looking for excuses.
