Nancy determined that his side kick on and move their title charge into top gear

- FRASER WILSON

WILFRIED NANCY has challenged his Celtic players to go through the gears as they look to catch Hearts at the top.

The Frenchman has recovered from an awful start to his Parkhead career - that saw him lose his first four games - to record back-to-back league wins.

But Nancy is in no mood to relax and the Frenchman insists his side have more levels to their game.

That starts tonight against fourth-placed Motherwell where a win would see the Hoops draw level with the Jambos on 41 points.

Nancy was happy with aspects of Saturday's 4-2 win at Livingston where his side fought back twice from losing goals inside a chaotic opening eight minutes.

But he wants even better against Well.

He said: “Yes because, again, my job is to challenge the players. We did really good stuff on Saturday.

“I would challenge them to keep what we did.

“I would challenge them also to do better regarding certain things.
