We're stuck in a rut of doom and bust

TOMORROW, my government will be publishing our Budget plans setting out how we will make Scotland a better country and make people's lives a bit easier, over the coming year.

It comes at a time when people are struggling to make ends meet, and everyone is feeling really let down by what the UK Government has offered over the last year and a half.

To be honest, it feels like the UK is stuck in a bit of a doom loop at the moment.

So I think now, more than ever, people need two things from their government - trusted leadership, and hope for a better future.
