MOTHERWELL are leading the chase to sign prolific striker Eythor Bjorgolfsson after he left Swedish club Umea at the end of his contract.

The 25-year-old hitman has joint Norwegian and Icelandic nationality and is now a free agent. He was the third top scorer with 15 goals last season in the Swedish second tier with Umea, including eight in his last five games.
