We hope Harper's memory inspires a safer world'

THE parents of a 10-year-old girl killed in a school shooting say they want her memory to inspire real change in the world.

Harper Moyski was one of two children killed in the attack at a Catholic school in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Wednesday morning. The other victim was eight-year-old Fletcher Merkel. A further 15 children and three adults were injured.

Michael Moyski and Jackie Flavin, Harper's parents, said: “Harper was a bright, joyful and loved 10-year-old whose laughter, kindness and spirit touched everyone who knew her.

“Our hearts are broken not only as parents but also for Harper's sister, who adored her big sister and is grieving an unimaginable loss.”
